Considering the environment when making business
decisions doesn't have to be a purely moral or philanthropic decision.
There are serious savings to be made from both changes to
company practices and the installation of eco-friendly technologies.

Are you looking to diversify or expand and want to consider
ways to reduce your running costs at the first stages of project
development? |

Are you looking to relocate and want to make sure that the
relocation will help reduce your running costs? |

Would you like to improve profit performance by reducing
your running costs? |
For years we've all been trying to cut out the middle man, but there
are times when he is required. Earthly Ideas acts as the middle
man linking your business with the technical installers, making sure
that any installation both meets your business needs and more
importantly saves you money.
The knowledge and experience of Earthly Ideas
comes from running a heavily diversified farm business. Jason built tourism
facilities and a retail site and at every stage considered eco-friendly
technologies and procedures. He spent a lot of time researching the range of environmental
technologies available in Europe and identifying which ones Deepdale could
practicably install. In some cases Jason edited domestic systems to fit
the
business, in other cases he adapted large scale technologies. Like
any business Deepdale Farm had to look at the bottom line, deciding whether the
installation costs outweighed the running cost savings. Jason also looked at
technologies to see whether they would increase or decrease the quality of
the customers experience.

"I'm a Research Fellow at a major university,
investigating carbon reduction from buildings. Since about 40% of UK C02
emissions are from buildings, it's always nice to see any company taking
steps to reduce their impact on the environment. But this is not only
the very first campsite/hostel that I have seen with any kind of solar
hot water setup, it's also one of the best working ones I've seen - hot
showers after long walks test this well! I was also very pleased to
notice the use of PIR sensors for lighting - an idea which is only just
being used in the UK, and it is measures like this that really show when
people are looking to the future. I think the environmental policies at
Deepdale are excellent, and make for a very ethical, as well as very
friendly campsite."
