Coronavirus / Covid-19 Update

Following the Government announcement instructing people not to travel unnecessarily or to have unnecessary social contact, the site and office are now closed until this restriction is lifted.

The UK Government published further advice – ‘Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.’

The shops at Dalegate Market and Deepdale Cafe are closed. Both the pubs in the village have also closed. Most local attractions have also closed their doors.

We understand this will be an extremely difficult time for everyone. As a small, independent business operating on a seasonal cashflow basis, with a team of incredibly loyal people to try and support through this period, we fully appreciate this.

So, while the Government restricts people travelling to us, we will defer your booking to a time in the future when you are able to visit, and will hold any booking fees paid as a credit for you to use.

We have come to know many of our customers as friends, who love what we do, and during these unprecedented times we fully understand and deeply appreciate the support you are able to give, so that we can still be here to welcome you back later this year, or next.

We wish all of our customers the very best during the difficult times ahead.

If you have any queries about your booking, then please email the office stay@deepdalebackpackers.co.uk and we will try to reply to you as soon as possible. We don’t know when the restrictions will be lifted, but will announce when we are re-opening on this website and our social media.

Chris, Jason and The Deepdale Crew

PS If you would like to book ahead, we will reserve you a space, but take no money until the situation becomes clearer.
