Israel – Short sighted beyond belief!
Let me get this right. Israel, a nation built over the palastinian lands, for a people who felt displaced, is now objecting to the recognition of the state it split. Oh how forgetful nations can become in a just 50-60 years.
There can be no excuse for Israel’s bigoted reaction to the UNESCO decision to recognise Palestine. Their reaction is simply idiotic and fatally flawed. They cannot see that they themselves are much of the cause of their woes such as rocket attacks and suicide bombs.
If you treat your neighbour with no respect and make no attempt to repair that relationship, then it’s not going to end well for either neighbour.
Israel, remember the reason your nation had to come into existence, remember the bigoted attitude of the nazis, the hurt their actions caused your people. Now think about what you are doing to the Palestinian people and stop your idiotic steps to your own destruction!
