Call me a cynic, but is it any surprise that we despair of our idiot politicians, when the party in power feels weekly bin collections are one of the most important issues we face?
The resultant actions of Eric Pickles thinking, have annoyed many people during his political career, but his latest pronouncements on weekly bin collections are surreal.
Now I’m sure there are quite a number of people who have enough time in their day free to get hot under the collar about how dreadful a bi-weekly bin collection is. However for that issue to be seen as a major item on the cabinets agenda means our politicians have finally lost it. Is it really more important than Youth Unemployment or having some armed forces left?
Anyone who knows me, knows I’m no fan of his opposition, Caroline Flint, but she does have a point that if you can find £250m for weekly bin collections, why are you closing down youth services?
Either Cameron has lost control of his generals or the Tory Party have completely lost the plot?
